Home Safety Assessment · $249
A physical therapist's plan for a safer home
In about 90 minutes, a Doctor of Physical Therapy watches how you move through your home and writes a prioritized plan with photos, measurements and a quote. $249, credited toward any project of $2,500 or more.
Your written plan is yours. Use it with us or with any contractor you choose.
What we check, room by room

Steps, rails, thresholds and lighting from the car to the door.
Stairs
Rail height and reach, step depth, lighting at top and bottom.

Getting in and out of the tub or shower, on and off the toilet, where support is needed.

Common questions
Is the $249 credited toward work?
Yes. If you go ahead with a project of $2,500 or more, we credit the full $249 toward it.
Do I have to use Sure Footing to do the work?
No. The plan is yours. Use it with us, with another contractor, or do some items yourself.
Will Medicare pay for the assessment?
Right now the assessment is private pay. Some Medicare Advantage plans and VA programs may help with the work itself. See Ways to pay.
